Alumni Freiburg e.V. is now offering a further service to its members: an alumni email address. The idea is to improve contact with former students. The booster association is providing all interested members email addresses according to the format firstname.lastname@alumni.uni-freiburg.de in cooperation with the University of Freiburg’s IT Services Department.

The email address makes it easier for alumni to stay in contact with their alma mater as well as with old friends from their time as students.

We can also keep you better informed about events in your region and news from our worldwide alumni network. In addition, the email adresses reduce printing costs and postage fees. This frees up funding for alumni projects and is more environmentally friendly, keeping with Freiburg’s reputation as the “Green City.”

All you need to do to receive a lifetime email address is register at Alumni Freiburg e.V. and provide us with an existing email address where we can forward your emails.

Upon receiving your application by mail, fax, or email, we will verify your registration and membership and send you your new email address, the password, and further information on the new email service.
